They practice the art and the science of clinical dentistry in a modern, comfortable, and convenient environment. The practice is based on the old fashioned principles of delivering quality dental care to each and every patient. However modern technology is utilized wherever appropriate. Dr. Ralph Cohen



Dr. Ralph CohenDr. Cohen obtained his undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1971 he enrolled in the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. There he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine, or DMD. After spending a year working for the Children's Division of the Tennessee Department of Health, he returned to Georgia in 1975 to establish his private practice in its current location in Marietta.

He is active in all phases of General Dentistry with a special focus on Cosmetic and Implant treatment. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northwest District Dental Society, and the Northside Dental Study Club. He is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry as well as a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantology. For the 2012-2013 academic term, Dr. Cohen was selected to serve as President of the Alumni Association at the Medical College of Georgia. While President, Dr. Cohen attended frequent meetings, helped with fundraising and recruitment, and facilitated the major transition into School of Dentistry's brand new dental facility. He has attended numerous continuing education programs and is currently an adjunct professor at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Department of Oral Rehabilitation.

Dr. Stacey Weitzner



Dr. Stacey Weitzner was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. After graduating from Pace Academy in Atlanta, she went on to earn her B.A. degree in Biology from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Dr. Weitzner obtained her dental education at the Medical College of Georgia (Georgia Regents University), College of Dental Medicine, between the years of 2007-2011. Following dental school, she was accepted into the prestigious General Practice Residency Program at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. There, she continued her training in one of the top programs in the nation, which heavily focused on the surgical aspects of dentistry, including: implant placement, bone augmentation, wisdom teeth removal, and difficult extractions. The program also provided extensive experience in treating medically compromised patients and cosmetic comprehensive oral rehabilitation. In addition, Dr. Weitzner also received comprehensive training in, and is currently certified to provide conscious IV sedation. After completing the 2 year program, Dr. Weitzner served as full time faculty for the residency before ultimately returning to Marietta for private practice.

In 2012, Dr. Weitzner received her fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI). In 2014, she was also awarded the distinguished honor of mastership in the ICOI. Dr. Weitzner is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Hinman Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Weitzner currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty for the General Practice Residency Program in Augusta while working nearly full time in private practice in Marietta. She considers it a special privilege to be able to work alongside and continuously learn from her father, Dr. Ralph Cohen, who has been practicing at this location for over 40 years. Dr. Weitzner and her husband, Jordan, a pediatric GI fellow at Emory, stay busy with their daughter, Ivy, born in November 2014.

Dr. Weitzner's favorite aspect of practicing dentistry is helping patients overcome their dental fears and phobias and making them feel comfortable at the office. She loves restoring patients' oral health and confidence. Dentistry is truly her passion and she strives every day to provide the highest quality of dental care and to create brighter and healthier smiles for you and your family.
